Valentine Book and Banner

Special Holiday Workshop with Bibi

With Valentines just days away you have an excuse to get all heart-shaped crazy! In this "two-fer" class, you'll make "love" banners and a miniature heart envelope book.

First we will make love banners to hang or fold up and present as gifts. You will stamp letters to make a phrase on each "flag" or punch out heart shapes, and then using twine or multi-colored embroidery thread you will glue or stitch together your miniature pieces for a one-of-a-kind banner to display on a wall or door to celebrate your message.

During the second half of your heart-themed art day, you will cut and fold paper hearts that make up a small book of envelopes (2-1/4 x 3 inches) to fill with sweet, secret love notes. Choose your own papers and ribbon to cover and close your outpouring of love. No experience needed and all ages welcome.
