Workshop with Bibi Summer
Learn two bookbinding stitches to create one book you design from scratch. You’ll construct this up-cycled book from cereal boxes and paint on cover paper to make a unique book to reflect your style.
You’ll learn about signatures, paper characteristics, and how to cut and fold each section. The beauty is also in the unique binding. You’ll hand-punch holes and use embroidery thread to easily stitch your book together. Give as a gift or savor as a personal handmade book. No experience required.
All supplies provided: board, thread, needles, buttons, envelopes and paper for the interior pages and covers, glue, glue brushes, craft knives, cutting surfaces. $5 supply fee pay to the instructor.
